What to expect after treatment: Immediately after the procedure, the treated area may feel stiff or look firm, this is normal and will resolve. After the applicator is removed, the treated area may be reddened for approximately 20 minutes. Bruising, tingling or tenderness to the touch can be cause from the vacuum cup, which typically resolves within a few weeks. You may continue to feel a temporary of numbness or dulling of sensation in the treated area for a few days and possible few weeks after your procedure which is normal. Another common sensation is cramping, typically resolving in a few days to a few weeks. BEFORE AFTER What is a Facelift? A facelift purpose is to remove excess skin and tighten the underlying tissues and muscles on the face and neck. Facelifts are also used to correct any sagging in the face and those annoying hard to get rid off double chins. Ok so you’ve met with Dr. Mark Bishara and now its time to get things done. The incisions that will be made depend on the area that needs the change. After the incisions have been made there will be various degrees of “undermining” performed on the skin as the deep layers of your skin get lifted. What is undermining? Undermining is the separation of the overlying skin of the face and neck to the muscles and deep tissues of the skin. Soon after your skin will be raised from the temples, cheeks and neck and lifted and reposition. Any excess skin and fat will then be removed. The skin will then redrape over the new underlying structure and close with stitches. You will then be wrapped with padded dressing. How long will it take to recover? Walking and light activities can be resumed 3 to 7 days after surgery. Avoid anything that puts pressure on your face such as lifting, bending, and straining for 7 to 14 days. Try to suppress any forceful coughing or sneezing for 2 weeks. Avoid aerobic or heavy exercise for at least 3 weeks following surgery. Some swelling and bruising will develop and is minimized by resting in an elevated position. Rest and sleep in a reclining position with your head elevated 45 degrees for at least 2 weeks after surgery. You can resume make up after stitches have been removed. Scarring can be virtually invisible behind the ear, as incisions are usually made in hidden areas where the scars will look like small wrinkles. What to expect?- BREAST AUGMENTATION
BEFORE AFTER What To Expect From Procedure Consulting with an awesome doctor like Dr. Mark Bishara is the first thing you want to do.Although you might have an idea on what you?d like to look like after its also good to ask Dr. Mark Bishara for his recommendations. At your consultation at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa we use 3d imaging to determine what is best for you, from sizes and implant types. Implants come in forms of saline and silicone. After choosing between silicone and saline you will then choose size and form. Dr. Mark Bishara will then recommend where to place the implant, if below or above the muscle. DAY OF THE PROCEDURE Breast Augmentation is an outpatient procedure. It can take between one and two hours. On the day of your breast augmentation Dr. Mark Bishara will go over the surgical procedure again. An iv will get started and you will be placed under general anesthesia. DURING THE PROCEDURE After being put under general anesthesia, Dr. Mark Bishara will begin. During the procedure Dr. Mark Bishara will make cuts under the breast and begin the insertion of the implants. Once the implants are put in place Dr. Mark Bishara will close the incisions with a suture, Throughout the whole surgical procedure Dr. Mark Bishara’s nurses will be monitoring the patients blood pressure, temperature, pulse and oxygen. AFTER THE PROCEDURE After your Breast Augmentation surgery is complete, the anesthetist will wake you up from your induced sleep. You will then be transferred to the recovery room where our experienced nurses will monitor you until you are fully awake. You may feel a little tired and groggy at this point. Supporting bandages will be wrapped around your chest along with a surgical bra that we provide here at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. Soreness and swelling are very common to be there for a few weeks after your breast augmentation. Bruising is normal as well. Scars will begin to gradually fade over time. Tips The patient should have someone to drive them home the day of their procedure and have someone help throughout the first 24 hours. To reduce any swelling and pain you should sleep upright for the first 48 hours. House work should be done prior to your breast augmentation procedure or put on hold at least for a week after. Loose fitting clothing and ice packs will come handy after your breast augmentation procedure. Stay well hydrated, make sure to drink plenty of water during your recovery process. A Hydrafacial is a non-invasive skin resurfacing and hydrating procedure that an aesthetician performs at the Paragon Plastic Surgery and Med Spa. It has vortex suction tool that works like microdermabrasion to exfoliate the skin and remove impurities without using crystals or abrasive chemicals. It uses vacuum like suction to get rid of dead skin, clogged pores, and reveal more radiant new skin. A Hydrafacial can treat a number of skin concerns, like fine lines, acne, hyperpigmentation and sun damage. How it works! Hydra facial MD is for all skin types. It helps with hyper pigmentation, congested pores and fine lines and wrinkles. It usually takes about 30 minutes. The way it is done is as follows. PRP vs. HAIR TRANSPLANT
Hair Loss With there being many types a hair loss people frequently ask themselves what is best for them to treat their hair loss. When coming in to see Dr. Mark A. Bishara the type of hair loss the patient is experiencing plays a big part in deciding between PRP injections or Hair Transplantation. Male or female pattern baldness is typically on top of the head. The hair on the back and sides its what gets transplanted on the top of the scalp being that it wont be affected by the hormones. Although PRP can be used during hair transplantation there are patients that rather not go through Hair Transplantation surgery. PRP treatments as same as hair transplantation can be used to treat male and female pattern baldness. The Difference…. The process of PRP treatments are considerably different from a hair transplantation surgery. The Blood Sample is placed in a centrifuge so that the plasma separates from other cells. Hair Transplantation it takes more involvement from Dr. Mark A. Bishara and his surgical techs. The hairs that will be transplanted are taken from the back and sides of the head using the ARTAS Robotic system which is the preferred method by Dr. Mark A. Bishara. The follicular units removed are check for quality as Dr. Mark A. Bishara makes the new home for the new hair. Bishara has made the sites. The Results It normally takes the same time to see results for both PRP treatments and Hair Transplantation.
