What should I expect?
When will I see results

What can I expect after treatment?
Immediately after treatment you may feel a very mild heat sensation, in which case your treatment provider can prescribe a hydrating gel. This sensation should not last longer than a few hours.

The treatment.
Before treatment, your physical should assess your vaginal health to ensure you are a good candidate for the treatment. During the procedure, your physician will move the sterilized applicator along the vaginal wall in an outward motion, applying the laser in a 360 degree pattern covering the entire area. The procedure should take a few minutes. You may experience a minor heat sensation during the treatment, but it is very gentle and you should not feel uncomfortable.

ThermiVa is being sued by Vivive for patent infringement

In October, Viveve filed a patent infringement lawsuit against ThermiGen, LLC, ThermiAesthetics, LLC, (Thermi) and Dr. Red Alinsod alleging unauthorized use of Viveve’s patented technology.
Viveve is vigorously protecting its robust intellectual property portfolio. In the patent suit Viveve is pursuing all available remedies, including an injunction to prevent Thermi from selling, training, and promoting its accused infringing ThermiVa® treatment.
The lawsuit is based on U.S. Patent No. 8,961,511 entitled “Vaginal Remodeling Device and Methods”, which covers methods for remodeling tissue of the vagina and vulva by applying heat to the target tissue. ThermiGen, LLC, ThermiAesthetics, LLC (Thermi), and Dr. Red Alinsod are accused of willfully infringing Viveve’s patent.
Defendants have disputed the allegations of patent infringement.
