What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is an inject able dermal filler than plumps up the areas around the nose and mouth that are referred to as “laugh lines”. There are little allergen concerns because it is made with no animal by-products to cause a reaction, although it should be avoided by patients with a history of severe allergies or anaphylaxis.
What to Expect from Treatment
The procedure is quick and easy and takes only a few minutes. Dr Bishara will explain how the procedure works and answer any questions or concerns you may have. After the treatment you should avoid consuming any alcohol or performing strenuous activities for 24 hours. You should see improvement in the skin surface right away which should last for a minimum of six months with minimal follow up appointments after that to maintain a youthful appearance.
